EDPChico, First and foremost, please be patient and wait upon making your request for relic cards sometimes they take months to send…While you are patiently waiting don’t forget to Pray, Pray for their Beatification and Canonization, and Ask for their intercession.

Please do not be offended if they happen to tell you “no”

EDPChico, please do take the time to browse around this particular thread, you will see at times that I (and other CAF members) have received a confirmation email and other times I (and other CAF members) were simply blessed to receive valuable information on the Saint or “Saint in the making” as well as a relic card.

You may find various email addresses and direct webpages where you may make your request.

Here is a website on Fr. Giovanni Gross, O. Carm:

ocarm.org/en/content/citoc/decoration-fr-giovanni-grosso

On another note, I am joyful and truly blessed to receive a holy prayer card, Novena, and a brief biography with two relics attached of Blessed Emilie Tavernier Gamelin I actually received an extra holy prayer card and Novena as well which I plan on giving/sharing with a lady at our Church.

I believe that the contact information was provided by another CAF member but here it is again:

Thank you very much… I truly appreciate it =) God Bless!

goforgoal… the prayer cards of Servant of God, Chaplain Emil Kapaun arrived a few days ago. Still no relics. Well it’s okay. It’s more important now for me to distribute it in 4 parishes.

Venerable Anne de Guigne’s prayer card and relic arrived last Wednesday as well.

EDPChico, I emailed the Sisters of Providence before, regarding Blessed Emilie Gamelin, they did not reply, but they did sent me a small package regarding my request a week or two. It’s prayer and patience. In addition, a polite request via email is well received by them even without a reply. Also, the willingness to pray for a candidate for sainthood regularly, and to be able to report possible miracles associated to the candidate’s intercession is well processed by the folks who send the literature or materials. 🙂

Yes you have to pray and be patient. and you must make these saints known to people in your place or just share their prayer cards to people in your parish.

christofirst God bless you for posting and sharing both links. They have been very helpful.

EDPChico Please give all credit, honor, glory, and thanks to God, His Angels, and His Saints.

God bless you and God be with you too.

prbarrera It fills me with joy that you are able to distribute the holy cards of Servant of God, Fr. Emil J Kapaun to four Parishes. You (and others) may find the following link interesting…edifying

FraLeones, yes, it was indeed you, my dear friend and I thank you sincerely for sharing the information as well as providing the Prayer and with that I also thank Our Almighty Father and giving us Heavenly friends.

Anyways, I forgot to state when I received them it was on March.22nd, 2012, Thursday.

I know I don’t always post the information, Prayers, Novenas, etc. So, I am hoping that people will simply click on the attach photos that are provided.

I would also like to share some beautiful and joyful news on March. 27th, 2012, Tuesday I was truly blessed to receive a relic Prayer card of Servant of God, Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J.

  • If you do go to the hardonsj website please take the time to browse the Photo Gallery

or

James Maldonado: hardonarchive@yahoo.com ← Prior to receiving the holy relic Prayer card I received a “confirmation email” from Mr. James Maldonado.

Not only that dear CAF members, the same day I was also blessed to receive 8 holy pictures and 8 holy cloth relics of Blessed Marie of Providence (Eugénie Smet).

Prior to that Sr. Claire Wilson sent me a “confirmation email” stating that she would be distributing the items of Blessed Marie of Providence (Eugénie Smet) out, she kindly requested if I could distribute them to my family members, and Sr. Claire Wilson also stated she has just finished writing a short biography of Blessed Marie of Providence (Eugénie Smet) which the Sisters in India will be printing since it is more economical for them. I also received the same letter in a beautiful hand written post card from Sr. Claire Wilson and Sr. Claire Wilson kept my name and mailing information for the future when they get the English biography of Blessed Marie of Providence (Eugénie Smet) copied.

For all of you who maybe unfamilar with Blessed Marie of Providence (Eugénie Smet) she is one of the many, many Saints or Saints in the making who were devoted in helping the Poor Souls in Purgatory…The following website may give you a glimpse of who she is

I remembered Rev. Fr. John Anthony Hardon, SJ. I got his prayer cards last year. That time it was Executive Director, Mr. James Maldonado Berry.

Thank You to James Maldonado Berry

The email is addressed to James Maldonado still, but the new Executive Director is Mr. Derrick A. Flannigan.

New Executive Director: Mr. Derrick A. Flannigan

I requested to the new Executive Director some prayer cards for this year. I noticed, however, that it’s better to reply to the Contact form than the Yahoo! email address. Up to now, there’s nothing coming from them yet… Or perhaps the good news of the baby made them busy for the time being.

Congratulations for Flannigan Baby

Is it ok to photocopy prayer cards and distribute them?
It depends on the card. Most of the time they are copyrighted and so I would not copy them lest it be a sin or putting myself at risk with regard to the law. I think if the card is really old and out of print then maybe you could copy them.

My rule is, buy in bulk or get permission to copy.

May God kindly reward and bless each and everyone of you.

Thank you God, for sending us Heavenly Friends to intercede for us on our behalf.

April.3rd, 2012, Tuesday I was truly blessed to receive 2 relic prayer cards of Servant of God,María Félix Torres, 20 prayer cards of Servant of God, María Félix Torres, a leaflet in Spanish, a book in French, and a “Company of the Saviour” pamphlet.

I found out about Servant of God, María Félix Torres

by going to this wesite: mariafelix.org/

The few times I have been there it shows up as an “error page” and the only way I can get the website to work is by going to Google Translate. I’ve also tried other links to the page when a warning for a Virus popped up…Be careful.

Website: ciasalvador.org/html/es/welcome.html

For any favors, blessings, or to request information about Servant of God, María Félix Torres please click on the Prayer card if you would like to write to the Sisters or you may contact Cristina Parejo, C.S. here:

madre.felix@ciasalvador.org

prbarrera I do believe that James Maldona Berry is the same person I mentioned. However, in his reply the last name of Berry wasn’t mentioned. Thank you anyways for mentioning that. I am really glad you will be able to distribute more prayer cards of Servant of God, Fr. John Anthony Hardon, SJ.

EDPChico like CathMass kindly suggested purchase prayer cards in bulk that way you can distribute them.

May I also suggest this thread?

You can get a Free Crucifix by going to this website:

forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=627695

Go to page, 2, #16 where there is a suggestion of “Free Printable” prayer cards.

EDPChico if you are referring to the specific prayer cards mentioned on this website I would kindly suggest you contact the Postulator, Order, Congregation, whomever to see if it is okay with them and you can always ask them for more Prayer cards for distribution.

God be with you and God bless you,

Does anybody know where I can get a relic (any class will do) of St. Catherine of Siena? A priest that I know says that he entrusted me to her and so I am looking for a relic of some kind.

Perhaps the following websites will help but than again I could be wrong and if I am I sincerely apologize CathMass.

The Basilica of Saint Mary Above Minerva

basilicaminerva.it/

and/or

The Basilica of San Domenico, also known as Basilica Cateriniana

basilicacateriniana.com/index_en.htm

St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us. Amen.

My Mom always prayed to Mother Seton for strength in dealing with my illnesses when I was small. Does anyone have any information on where to obtain Mother Seton medals? It had a swatch of her clothing in it, so it was more of a relic I think than just a medal. It was something I think Mother Seton touched or wore. But it is not in my house anymore, and it is something I placed value to because my mother prayed to her often for interior strength for herself, and for my health to improve. It did, many times over.

It just came as a thought to me, and I was interested as to which place to go to purchase, or send for a relic of Mother Seton or a medal. Thank you all for your prayers!! I pray for you all daily!

God Bless

CathMass, you’re welcome although all Glory, Honor, and Praises of Thanksgiving should go to God, our Almighty Father, His Angels, and His Saints. And, like I stated in my previous posts the following links could very well be incorrect.

Dearest and Beloved CAF Members (and those just taking a peek at this site).

God has blessed us with another candidate for sainthood on April. 20th, 2012, Friday I received a personal letter from the Little Sisters of the Holy Family, beautiful testimonies from intercession of **Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis. **

Maurice Trottier, two prayer cards of **Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis. **

A hand sewn relic of the garment worn by Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis and the hand sewn laminated photo containing a relic having touched Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis bones

The **Little Sisters of the Holy Family ** are very kind and generous please keep these Sisters in your Prayers and please pray for the Canonizaton of Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis bones

Hello beloved1, I am the “original poster” who asked about the “Relic of Blessed Mother Teresa?”

If you look back to post # 1, page.1 you will see it was more of a question about the authenticity of the website which provides a laminated relic card which is touched to Blessed Mother Teresa Calcutta’s tomb.

Since then, I have obviously received my answer and shared this information as well as other information where people can obtain relics as well. However, I don’t and will not take all of the credit if you do browse around this particular thread you will find that many other CAF members have shared valuable information as well.

So all in all, beloved1, I do hope I answered your question.

Does anybody know where I can get a relic (any class will do) of St. Catherine of Siena? A priest that I know says that he entrusted me to her and so I am looking for a relic of some kind.
My son and I attended a presentation of the relics of the Saints through this ministry :Treasures of the Church. We brought over 20 medals with us and touched them to relics of the Saints on the medals, and then gave those to his classmates, who are preparing for their First Holy Communion. When you touch a religious object (e.g., a rosary, medal, etc.) to a first or second-class relic, the object becomes a third-class relic.

SO, here’s my point. If you go to the website for Treasures of the Church, you’ll see information about where future presentations will be taking place, and you can get information on how to bring this presentation to your own parish. I wasn’t looking for St. Catherine of Siena, so I don’t remember if her relics were among the 150 or so relics available for veneration.

And one other possibility: if you can find a first- or second-class relic of St. Catherine of Siena near you, you could touch your rosary, crucifix, or medal to her relic. Call some parishes and start asking. Every parish has a first-class relic of a Saint in the main altar. One local parish in my area has a relic of the true cross in the church, and the seminary here has several first-class relics just outside the chapel. So you never know 🤷

God bless you in your search!

Gertie

Catherine of Siena was there. I have a rosary, I touched to her reliquary. It’s a great presentation.
