though the prayer card is in spanish, i have received a relic card of Blessed Miguel Pro

you could contact

padre.pro@hotmail.com
Have not heard of one in Spanish before. Do you know if this email address links to ProVision, or some other website? Elsewhere in this thread I think I remember even seeing one in Tagalog.

usually, convents and postulators distribute second class relics unless it is state that it is a third class.
Fra Leones, that is good information to know. Will keep it in mind. Thanks and God bless.

prbarrea Thank you very much for understanding I think I’m really over-joyed and excited when I receive these precious and holy items.

I also realized I made a mistake on Servant of God, Simona Tronci’s last name. :o

prbarrea and avemaria123 I am very thankful and truly blessed to have receive a Prayer card and a relic card of St. Roque as well on March. 2nd, 2012, Friday I was actually going to send them an email telling them it was okay if they did not or were unable send me anything being that I sent them a request back on the 19th of November 2011. So, I take that as a lesson to be patient.

Like I stated, in my previous threads if you do request a relic and they tell you, “No.” Please do not be discouraged but Pray for that particular candidates Beatifiction and Canonization and if it is a Saint ask for their intercession.

I have also considered not posting publically about the relics or the contact information or even asking the MOD’s to shut this particular thread down as it has come to my attention by a CAF member and a good friend that some people may not have good intentions (ie/selling them once they receive them) when requesting for the following relics.

In the meantime, I will Pray about this…🤷

I agree. We have to pray regarding your concern.

This topic has been a source of rich information to me. Whether if I receive a relic card or a prayer card without a relic, I would be glad to have these received. Often I asked for possible additional copies for me to distribute as my apostolate. Lately, I have been able to tap the hospitals. Although I only attend one hospital with a chapel for Mass, the chaplain is able to help distribute the rest of the prayer cards requested from various areas.

And it would be a good idea to distribute prayer cards, not only in parishes and Catholic schools (I send prayer cards to the Archdiocesan seminary, and 2 Archdiocesan universities), but also to hospitals. I believe that hospitals are one of the best places to have a candidate for beatification and canonization. Miracles do occur through their intercession.

I often send my bishops (the Archbishop & his 2 Auxilliary Bishops) relic cards. For example, the relic card of Servant of God Maria Lucia of Jesus and of the Immaculate Heart (Lucia dos Santos, one of the witnesses of Our Lady of Fatima), each of them have a relic card. A parish named for Our Lady of Fatima also has a relic. It’s near completion in its construction, and I hope and pray the altar will be consecrated with a relic of one who is relative to the apparitions in Fatima.

With regards to Blessed Gabriella, her prayer cards will be distributed on April, before her feast day, April 22. I keep one relic card and the bishops will have their own relic cards as well.

Personally I feel very blessed and happy to recieve any of these relics and would never consider selling them under any circumstances. I do not get the impression that any of the other contributors to this thread have that intention either. It seems that they all have the same great feelings about the items. So I hope you will not shut down this very fascinating thread. God bless.

Today I was blessed and happy to receive a second class reliquary containing a piece of the cassock in which Venerable Servant of God Father McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus was buried. It was ordered through the website www.fathermcgivney.org. It is available for a donation amount of $25.00. Also requested several free items of literature which were sent for free along with the reliquary. He died at a young age and was only a priest of 13 years, but he started an organization that has nearly two million members worldwide. What an inspiring and uplifting story. God bless.

This is indeed a valid concern. How do the people distributing the relics, the ones in charge of promoting a potential saint’s cause, decide who should get a relic and who should not? Whenever I have requested a relic, I have never been refused. I think they trust in the good will of the one who is requesting the relic. And those promoting the cause of a saint usually do not keep it a secret. They are interested in obtaining a miracle to advance the saint’s cause, and they have a website or an address anyone can find if they really want to. Therefore, I do not personally see a problem with this thread.

I am blessed to have recieved the following 2nd class relics: Holy Fathers John Paul I and John Paul II, Mother Teresa, Miguel Pro, Padre Pio, and Catherine de Hueck Doherty. Quite a few 3rd class relics too. First class relics are far more difficult to obtain (I certainly have no need or desire for one of those), and seem to be reserved for Churches or religious orders (and rightly so).

You make a very good point. Most of the relic items discussed here are offered either for free or for a small donation. There is always some potential that a small percentage of people could abuse this generosity and sell the items for profit, but there is really no realistic way to prevent this if you want to publicize the cause of the person and continue to offer the items for free. Unless someone flat out says “please send me a relic so I can sell it on Ebay”, which I seriously doubt would happen, how could those sending out the items really know what intentions people may have? Let us pray that any such persons would be in the very small minority. I truly believe that the vast majority do intend to use the relics for the correct, religous purposes. God bless.

it is one way of getting the saints known. and also not all here are kind enough or is concerned to share where they have found the relics they’ve had.

prbarrera, avemaria123, christofirst, FraLeones, and to anyone who may come across this particular thread.
  • May God reward each and everyone of you for your Prayers in this manner.+
As you can see on the very first thread (and I may have mentioned this before on the thread and PM’s) it was more of a question about the authenticity of the Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta website. Thankfully, I have received my answer.

Since then, my intentions are to share with you and others where one can obtain relic cards of the Saints and Saints in the making, to make them known, loved, and to spread their devotion to those who may need them…I also Pray that people who come across this thread by there favorite search engine such as Google may come to understand this as well.

Thank you and God be with you all,

Cards have his picture on front and cloth marked “Ex Ind.” with a short biography, a prayer and the postulator seal on back. Also two postcards with the same picture were received. Dearest CAF Members, God bless you for your Prayers in this manner and please continue to Pray.

I am a believer in that Devotions, Prayers, and so forth should be shared amongst our brothers and sisters everytime I receive a Prayer relic card or a Prayer card I am so filled with joy and love – I give all glory, honor, and credit to God Our Father Almighty, for giving us these wonderful Saints, Blesseds, Venerables, and Servant of Gods.

Another thing is it has been a blessing to know that there are people distributing Prayer cards and relic cards to make Saints as well as the Candidates for Sainthood known, appreciated, and loved. If it wasn’t for CAF Members there are a lot of Saints and Candidated that I would have never come to know. So, I’m grateful to each and everyone of you as well.

Therefore, I would like to share this with you March. 12th, 2012, Monday I was truly and joyfully blessed to receive a pamphlet with a glimpse of the life of Blessed Mother Maria Helena Stollenwerk as well as Prayer relic card and two small “medals” with Blessed Mother Maria Helena Stollenwerk’s Second Class relic “Ex Indumentis”
