I am sad of that very unfortunate event that happened, Damien88. Let us all pray together for the safety of the relic wherever it is and for the repentance of the one who stole it. This happened to me also before. The package came to me but the envelope was torn into pieces. Fortunately, none of the contents of the package was stolen. Agreed - desecration of the holy relic would be a most horrible outcome!
I do not know the position of the Church on this apparition, and I don’t want to deviate from the intention of this thread, but if the Church approves the apparitions, I think it could be considered a 2nd class relic since it was something Our Lady touched personally rather than something being touched to her, but if in the end the Church disapproves the apparition, it is not a relic at all but merely a tiny piece of a book.Hello every one… this is an interesting subject… I would like to ask maybe anyone could give me an answer or maybe information…
There is a small Medal (reliquary) and the back of it has a tiny hole with contain a very tiny paper… That tiny paper was coming from the Missal book (the producer chopped the book into very tiny pieces around 1 mm) that was kissed by The Blessed Virgin Mary during Her apparition at Garabandal, Spain sometimes around 1961-1965… My question is, this medal with the tiny piece of Missal book kissed by The Blessed Virgin Mary can be considered or classified as a relic? and if that so, which class it be? Can it be considered as a Second class relic? or… this is not a relic…

you must have a very good relation with the sister…That’s wonderful! How long did it take to hear from them, and did you ever hear back from them at all or did it just show up? I’m waiting now almost two months to hear anything back. I don’t want to bother them, but I want to be sure they got my message. They didn’t reply me for the first two months also, but they just sent it out to me without telling me. They first sent out the ‘ex vestimentis’ from Bl. Elizabeth and some holy cards. I sent them another e-mail after receiving the first package thanking them for their kindness and sent a donation of $5 USD with a letter of thanks with my e-mail address on it.That’s wonderful! Then, I sent another e-mail to them asking if they would be willing to give me an ex capillis relic, and told them I had sent a donation to thank them and also to cover shipping costs. After around 2 weeks, they sent me an e-mail saying that they has received my $5 and would ship out the hair relic. After around a week or so it arrived, and I thanked the sisters once again, and asked a question about some of the holy cards and immediately received a reply about them the next day. Don’t worry, they do see the e-mails because they replied me very quickly when I asked them about the piece of cloth on the holy cards. They said it was an actual piece of her clothing.
If you really want to know, don’t be afraid to send them an e-mail again asking if they received your previous e-mail and ask them again for the relics you requested before.

Damien88, I know you stated in another post that you contacted The Sacramentine Sisters may I also suggest (that is if you haven’t already) sending them the exact same picture as you posted on CAF.
Damien88, this is probably a rather silly question but do you think it was one of the Postal workers that took this holy Relic of St. Geltrude Comensoli?
