Prayer for the Canonization of Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney, Founder of Knights of Columbus

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church.
Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify your venerable servant Father Michael J. McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be.)

PRAYER FOR THE BEATIFICATION OF VENERABLE MOTHER IGNACIA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO

Venerable Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo (1663 - 1748 )
-Foundress of the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM)

Father in heaven, Your name is glorified over all the earth in your saints, men and women, distinguished by a whole-hearted service and love for You. Through them You have established religious congregations in Your Church. In Your goodness and mercy, You have looked with favor on your people in the Philippines and have chosen from among them your lowly handmaid IGNACIA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO to be the foundress of a religious family under the special protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We humbly ask You, then, to glorify your name in her by performing the miracles needed for her beatification. Trough Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Petition)May her prayers and intercession obtain for us the favors we ask for, particularly that of remaining ever faithful to Your love and service. Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE BEATIFICATION OF SERVANT OF GOD MOTHER FRANCISCA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO DE FUENTES, O.P., Foundress of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena (Philippines)

God, Our Father, You are glorified in Your Saints, for in their lives we see the crowning of Your gifts. We commend to You the life and example of Mother Francisca del Espiritu Santo. She responded wonderfully to Your grace by a life of holiness. As a woman of the Philippines, she drew herself close to You in her service of the sick, the poor, and the young. We ask by this prayer in her memory Your special help… (mention favor requested)", May her holiness be recognized by the Church as an example of faithfulness for all the people of our land.

We ask this through the merits of Jesus our merciful Savior and the prayers of Mary, Queen of the Rosary. Amen.

Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory Be…

I just got a reply from the Postulator of Bl. Francesco Pianzola that a first class relic would be sent to me in a week. What a blessing!

Prayer to obtain a favour through the intercession of Blessed Marie Anne Blondin

Lord, You gave to Blessed Marie Anne Blondin a heart impassioned
for your glory and You called her to serve with tenderness the young,
the poor and the sick.
You gave her hope in the most difficult moments of her life
and You led her to deep serenity.
Be praised, Lord, for your humble servant,
Blessed Marie Anne Blondin.
Through her intercession grant us the favour that we ask
of You with confidence. Amen

I just want to let y’all know that today I went to the mailbox and saw a smaller package that I thought, “this will probably be some prayer cards or a third class relic maybe from Italy” Then, I felt the package and I felt something that was more round and I thought, “This must be a theca! That means its a first class relic! What a blessing!” I received in the mail today a relic ex ossibus of the Bl. Amigonian Martyrs. Pray for their canonization!

Also, on a sad note, I want to ask your prayers for my family and my aunt because my great aunt passed away this morning.

Prayers here

My Japanese colleague did her Ph.D dissertation on Mother Teresa, so she actually went to meet her and live a few months with her. When my colleague returned, we were chatting, and I mentioned how I’d converted to Catholicism a few months earlier. She gave me the Miraculous Medal Mother Teresa had given her!!

I would be happy to offer some prayers.

Eternal Memory! :crossrc:

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she, and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. :highprayer:

What is her name so that we can include her in our intentions and offer holy indulgences.

We will rise and not grow weary for our God will be our strength and we will fly like the eagle, we will rise again

Thank you all for your prayers for my Great Aunt.

I have a quick question for y’all:

If I want to make rosaries or other sacramentals into third class relics of saints that I have first class relics of, can I just touch the item to the glass of the theca or does it actually have to be in contact with the bone of the Saint?

For me, it should be touched to the bone itself, unless you cannot. Like mine, I made 3rd class relics by simply touching a piece of cloth to the RELIQUARY of the femur of St. Therese when it came to the Philippines…

And I have an “ex cappilis” relic of bl. Maria Teresa of St. Joseph, I made 3rd class relics of her by simply touching the cloth to the GLASS of the relic ( it is like a pendant, I cannot open it) while saying: " Lord, bless this cloth ( rosary) through Bl. Maria Teresa of St. Joseph or Lord, Please make this cloth holy through Blessed… or Saint…

Just a thought… 🙂

And I offered a rosary for your aunt, ( even I dont know her name)…

Hi, CAF friends, I recently received the following:
“ex crypta nativitatis BMV”
“ex domo Sancta Annae”
“ex domo Sancti Ioseph, Sp. BMV”
Cloth touched to the relics of:
St. Peter
St. John
St.James
St. Andrew
St. Jude Taddeus
and all the apostles…
some sacramentals and relics… THANKS TO A VERY SPECIAL FRIEND!! :):):)🙂

Today, God blessed me with three medals with a relic of Saint Anthony of Padua, may he intercede for us to God… Deo Gratias

Hi to everyone!!

I contacted the Guild of Father Michael McGivney, they told me this
The relic is a second class on the card. It is a particle of his cassock. It is the only one we have. The pink portion of the card is not a relic at all.
I have read in this thread about the double relics in a card, and consulted it to them… :)🙂

God bless us all…

Let us pray for the fast beatifications and canonizations of them… =)😃
