Relic

I have a 1st class relic of St Pious V which I was given by a Priest friend of mine. It’s got no paperwork but the seal on it is in perfect condition. It’s sad that there’s no paperwork, he had quite a few different relics and various boxes of papers lying around his house that I was helping him to go through. Most of the papers matched relics he had but there were one or two relics we couldn’t find the paperwork for

yes, it’s sad. another preist I work with gave me a 2nd class relic of pope pious the 10th with no paperwork when I was ordained. and all the seals and things are perfect. I was thinking of sending it to rome to get it recertified. I heard they put serial numbers into the seals and can research them. but someone told me it could take a year or so to get it back. but I can’t bare to be without it for that long.
