yes, it’s sad. another preist I work with gave me a 2nd class relic of pope pious the 10th with no paperwork when I was ordained. and all the seals and things are perfect. I was thinking of sending it to rome to get it recertified. I heard they put serial numbers into the seals and can research them. but someone told me it could take a year or so to get it back. but I can’t bare to be without it for that long.I have a 1st class relic of St Pious V which I was given by a Priest friend of mine. It’s got no paperwork but the seal on it is in perfect condition. It’s sad that there’s no paperwork, he had quite a few different relics and various boxes of papers lying around his house that I was helping him to go through. Most of the papers matched relics he had but there were one or two relics we couldn’t find the paperwork for![]()
