Relics - St. Laurides and St. Severi

I believe the altar at our church contains first class relics, ex ossibus, of St. Laurides and St. Severi. I understand these were Roman soldiers, possibly martyred in the 2nd century.

I would like to learn a little about these two, if possible - their conversion stories and how they died. Does anyone know a source useful for this? It may be a long shot, but thought I’d ask.

Are you sure you have the correct names? I tried a search in the Catholic Encyclopedia and came up blank.

Thanks, thistle, for your reply.

Funny, the Catholic Encyclopedia is the first place I looked, as well. No, I am not 100% sure on the spelling, which was emailed to me from someone working at our parish.

But assuming I in fact WERE to find the correct spellings, I guess I don’t know what sources are out there to confirm or draw information on a given saint.

I now think I should confirm our saints’ names first with the Seattle Archdiocese before trying again.
