When we talk of religion or sexual miseries that we go through or life as test for the day of judgment…a simple person ( lay man ) is probably confused by the fact that God has created a system (like a software having various functions and players)… no doubt this world or even any inch of human beings is an art, crafted in Divine hands, but what is this test thing put on our shoulders. we are poor helpless creature in a system where every thing is force including religion (as its only a belief shared by a group of people and the way they perceive things… they start happening the same way).

yes for this we shouldn’t admire our sense but the system where this is a possibility has Divine diversity. we developed all these concepts of good/bad, useful and useless and started pushing them in groups but why do we think men being in relationship with other women is wrong ( i mean sex) why do we think tuning our lives to the diversity of our thoughts is bad… Satan itself is creature of God… what if rejected (God creates spirits and fixes them in bodies for what reason… and then we are pushed into this software of world through womb… get to face all those predestined obstacles made to be turned down/harnessed/solved/exploited by us. why do we name it sin/blessing… as its pretty simple … either we harness or solve or turn down or use or exploit (it has certain reactions concerning things). In short i believe all we get in the end is what we perceive/believe. i dont live life for sin/virtue, hell/heaven … i live it to admire the creator and i harness/use/make/exploit or do what ever because this world is for me and i just have reasons to do things as my internal urge makes me feel what i need and how much i need …

comment pls…

I am a tad bit confused as to what exactly it is you believe, but I think it’s safe to say that I agree with much of what you say.

God predisposes us in many ways. We are products of our environments and we do not get to choose where we are placed in this world. This is specifically why I do not believe that one must believe in Jesus as God in order to be saved. How can God condemn someone who is raised in a non-Christian faith and follows the teachings of that faith if He places them in such a position? He must know that if someone is born into a non-Christian family, and is raised according to that faith, he or she is highly unlikely to ever convert. Just as Catholics are adamant about their faith, non-Christians are adamant about theirs. They will likely never see a need to convert or examine other faiths…would a Christian examine Satanism? probably not.

As for whether or not we are truly in control:

We are born like clean slates. Our environment puts marks on our slates. We can only choose from the marks that we have in front of us, and we are most swayed by the biggest marks (those in our lives that have the most influence on us). Our sense of right and wrong is therefore dependent on what our environment teaches us. We can only make decisions based on the conscience that we’ve developed from our environment, and our ability to choose is regulated by this conscience.

I think all that matters in the end is intention. On earth, we are usually judged by our actions. By God, we will be judged by what our intentions were when committing said actions. We must do what we truly believe God wants of us. A dillusional whacko may think that God wants him or her to kill someone. If he or she does, he or she is guilty of murder, but at least he or she meant well. Yes, he or she is crazy, but his or her action was done with the right intention in mind. Now, don’t confuse this with people who use the name of God when committing crimes in order to justify their actions to themselves and others. Such people know they are doing wrong, but choose to do so anyways and merely attach the idea that they are doing the will of God to give themselves peace of mind.

I may have made my explanations confusing, and I don’t think that my reasoning in the previous paragraph can be applied to law and order on earth (elsewise chaos and anarchy would prevail). Only God can know where one’s heart lies though.

Pope Paul 6 said that the greatest sin of this century is the loss of the sense of sin.
What you believe or do not believe does not in any way change the truth. The truth is objective, not subjective, and is immutable. Otherwise it would not be the truth. Caesar was ignorant of this and that is why he said to Jesus “What is truth?”
Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life.
God bless.

The purpose of religion is supposed to be to explain the world we’re in. It should become obvious to anyone that the “human condition” is one of being lost. We don’t know where we came from, if anywhere, what we’re here for, if anything, and where we’re going, if anywhere. Religion is supposed to fill in those details. The Catholic Church claims that she has been given a “deposit of faith” from God- revealed first to and thru the Jews and ultimately in Jesus Christ. She struggles to better understand this revelation all the time but the basic information we need to answer the above questions-and rectify our lost condition- has been complete since the time of Jesus. The Church also knows that we can’t know for ourselves that this stuff is true all at once- but that it takes time. Its’ a matter of testing and seeking and praying, etc-not blind faith-at least not if it’s going to be real. She also teaches that we can’t come to this faith on our own but that the God she serves whose truth she teaches is not only real but also promises to help us see and confirm the truth of her teachings about Him.
