I stand corrected. I never considered people leaving protestant materials or people being unable to identify questionable materials.
Does an Adoration Chapel fall under the same rules as a Church.
Does “distributed” under Canon Law mean kept for use in the Chapel or would it mean that it would necessitate physical removal by the borrower/taker?
I am assuming that the writings of St. Alphonsus on the Blessed Sacrament, prayer and God’s will would need to be removed since he isn’t a Church Doctor. What about modern translations of books like St. Augustine’s Confessions or St. Teresa’s Interior Castles.
Should our Chapel close our reading material section? I really hope not. I really wonder if I would have stuck around after my first couple of masses if I wouldn’t have discovered the Adoration Chapel and the material that introduced me to the faith. It certainly wasn’t the cold shoulders of the parishioners.
