I know in 2006 in the state of Massachusetts when the civil union and later gay marriage came in, Catholic social service got out of the foster care service.

Catholic social service was a major foster care service system, did millions of kids over the years.

Catholic Charities of Boston announced today that it will be pulling out of the adoption business by the end of this fiscal year because it cannot comply with state laws that require it to accept gays and lesbians as adoptive parents.
