Religious pharmacist allegedly denies woman post-miscarriage medication

In as much as these medications are used for both legitimate medical needs in addition to abortions, I think pharmacy employees need to understand that they don’t know enough about a woman’s medical condition to assume she is getting an abortion. The doctor is the one who is culpable for writing that script for an immoral purpose, not the person behind the counter who has no idea what the woman’s medical situation is.
 
If getting fired is the only thing that happens to him he was lucky. I’d argue that most states would pull his certification to be a pharmacist.
 
This is fron July and there has been a long and drawn out thread on this already.

Any actions would depend on the individual state’s pharmacy rules and regulations as well as state and federal employment laws.
