That’s a beautiful story.This is a little off-topic. A very dear friend of mine attended a church in northeastern Oklahoma. She said some time ago the parish was run by a religious order but I don’t remember which one. I think Capuchin might have been it. Anyway, the priest had been liberated from a POW camp during World War II. When he was going to come to the United States they asked him where he wanted to go. Since he had been liberated by the 45th Infantry Division from Oklahoma he told them that’s where he wanted to go. I like that story.![]()
