My ex-wife and I were married in the Catholic Church about 8 years ago. For a variety of reasons, we divorce 4 years later. The marriage was never annulled. We began seeing each other again ablout a year after the divorce. We have spent the last 3 years discovering what went wrong initiall and working on on builing a stronger and permanent relationship. We now believe that we are ready to reenter into our marriage. Since the origianl marriage was never annulled, what is the status of our relationship in the eyes of the Church? Should we (or even can we) be married in the Church again?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
