Reminder: Plenary Indulgences available for Holy Week

Here’s a summary of the Plenary Indulgences available for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Remember you can get one Plenary Indulgence per day under the “usual conditions”:
  • be in state of grace when you do the act
  • detachment from all sin even venial
  • say out loud a prayer for the Holy Father’s Intentions (one set of prayers for each plenary)
  • receive Holy Communion (one for each plenary)
  • Confession within 20 days before or after (a single confession will cover all plenaries in the 20 day period, as long as you stay in a state of grace).
 
Also, don’t forget you can get a plenary indulgence on Easter Sunday for receiving the Pope’s Urbi et Orbi blessing, as long as you watch it or listen to it live when it’s happening (via radio, TV, internet, etc., just as long as it’s live and not a rebroadcast).
