👍👍👍

I’m going to listen to everything else she says that I can find!

At what point are we permitted to conscientiously object to the administration’s FORCING us to pay for contraception and abortion?

I mean, someone correct me if I am wrong, but Jesus was telling the Jews to pay the temple tax, right? Paying the tax kept the peace between the Jews and the Romans and enabled the Jews to continue their worship unmolested by the Romans. It allowed them to continue doing what was pleasing to God in a peaceful way, whereas refusal to pay taxes would have caused violence and chaos. The Jews would have been crushed.

On the other hand, WE are actually being FORCED to contribute to things that are morally abhorrent through paying our taxes. The government is actually PREVENTING us from practicing our faith in a way.

So would it be moral to NOT pay taxes and instead give the money to a Catholic charity? Or is it honestly NEVER ok to revolt against an established form of government no mater how corrupt?

You ask good questions, making good points. I’m against gov’t so holding my position is easy (not rendering unto Caezar is another story however…)

Peace,
Bill

Uhhh the problem with that, was the Temple tax was being used to fund the pagan Roman Empire…you know who would later feed Christians to the lions.

However I agree we pay too much taxes and we should not tolerate our tax dollars going to killing kids.

They also denied entry to those who had no money to pay, didn’t they?
