Reorganizing the Church

We currently are planning a direction for our church. We have an outside organization named Catholic Development Associates organizing the process. In the initial presentation the organizer used some protestant terminology, and openly criticized the election of Pope Benedict XVI. It makes me leery to partake in this type of a change, but maybe I can make suggestions that will put in educational classes for adults and other positive changes to the Church. My question is have you ever heard of Catholic Development Associates and are they a positive organizatrion?
 
Hmmm, I’ve found a “Development Associates” in MA; they say that they have specialized in “direct mail fund raising for Catholics” for 35 years. Their “client list” is very generic, says clients were “marists, society of st. paul” etc. Yeah, but there are a lot of Marist and SSP groups. Surely they don’t fund raise for every single Marist in the U.S. Rather disingenuous I thought. Well, you can Google under “Catholic Development Associates” and see what you think.

“We”? The Pastor with the help of the Parish Council/Commissions should be planning the direction of the parish!
 
Is the organization approved by the diocese ?
Does the diocese even know what you are doing?
 
I beleive they are approved by the Dioceese but my Dioceeses is kind of liberal in its practices. So it kind of worries me even if it is sanctioned by them.

I’m not sure what you mean by saying your church is planning a direction ???

If this group is bad mouthing the new Pope and using strange
Protestant language I’d stay far away from them.
