Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Sister Lucia of Fatima was only a child when our Lady of Fatima appeared to her and to her cousins Francisco and Jacinta. Her cousins died young but Lucia entered first the sisters of St, Dorothy and then later transferred to the Carmelite Order. Mary and Jesus appeared to Sister Lucia in Spain and spoke to her of the First Saturday devotion:
…Lucia was a postulant in the Convent of St. Dorothy in Pontevedra, Spain when she had the apparition of our Blessed Mother. She was standing over a cloud of light with the Child Jesus at her side. The Blessed Virgin put one hand on Lucia’s shoulder, while her other hand sustained her Immaculate Heart that was surrounded with thorns. The Child Jesus said: “Have compassion on the Heart of your Blessed Mother. It is surrounded with thorns that ungrateful men pierce each moment, and there is no one that is willing to offer an act of reparation to take the thorns away.”

Our Lady immediately said to Lucia: “Look, my daughter. My Heart is surrounded with thorns that ungrateful men pierce unceasingly with their blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, try to console me and announce that for all those, who for five consecutive first Saturdays, confess, receive Holy Communion, pray the Holy Rosary and accompany me for15 minutes by meditating the mysteries of the Holy Rosary with the intention to do reparation, I promise to assist them at the hour of death with the graces needed for salvation.”

I hope you will at least keep our Mother company today. If you can participate at Mass and receive Holy Communion in Reparation – all the better! God knows what we are able to do and I believe He shares with Mary that she also may know the love we have for our Mother.

I pray the Rosary daily, for the souls in Purgatory,and for those who have fallen away from God,Jesus and Mary,for those who still continue too sin ,I turn too OUR LADY ,for she has given me help many off times. AMEN :signofcross::gopray2::harp:

Reparation for Blasphemy Against the Blessed Virgin Mary

Most glorious Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, turn thine eyes in pity upon us, miserable sinners; we are sore afflicted by the many evils that surround us in this life, but especially do we feel our hearts break within us upon hearing the dreadful insults and blasphemies uttered against thee, O Virgin Immaculate. O how these impious sayings offend the infinite Majesty of God and of His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ! How they provoke His indignation and give us cause to fear the terrible effects of His vengeance! Would that the sacrifice of our lives might avail to put an end to such outrages and blasphemies; were it so, how gladly we should make it, for we desire, O most holy Mother, to love thee and to honor thee with all our hearts, since this is the will of God. And just because we love thee, we will do all that is in our power to make thee honored and loved by all men. In the meantime do thou, our merciful Mother, the supreme comforter of the afflicted, accept this our act of reparation which we offer thee for ourselves and for all our families, as well as for all who impiously blaspheme thee, not knowing what they say. Do thou obtain for them from Almighty God the grace of conversion, and thus render more manifest and more glorious thy kindness, thy power and thy great mercy. May they join with us in proclaiming thee blessed among women, the Immaculate Virgin and most compassionate Mother of God. Amen.

Dear Katherine, wild thing, and pollylodges,

Thank you, so much, for your beautiful prayers, and your love for Our Blessed Mother. She is such a gift from Jesus! How we need to treasure His words to us from His Cross: “Behold your Mother”.

Ah, dear Katherine, it is a joy to share such a Mother as Mary, for by the power of the Holy Spirit, she gives us Jesus, our Way to the Father. May we continue to grow in Grace through her intercession and offer reparation to the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary each day.

Dear Bugbear, pollylodges and mommy k,

Thank you all for your prayers. So little attention seems to be paid to our Mother these days, even in Catholic Churches! Nevertheless, God knows and God rewards what He sees in secret, done to honor Him through Mary our Mother. 🙂
