SPECULATION that Australia’s Cardinal George Pell is about to be appointed to a senior Vatican post has strengthened in Rome with high-ranking priests now regarding the move as a done deal.

Cardinal Pell is an impressive man whose bearing and demeaner radiates a certain confidence and strength. He would be an excellent choice for this post. I am praying that the hand of God moves the right people into the right positions within the hieracrchy so that the post-scandal era of the Church may begin and proceed with righteousnes and vigor.
 
If its true... Lets hope he bangs a few heads together; he certainly could do it physically!
Well miss him here, though...who would replace him? May Gods will be done.

A number of years ago, a journalist wrote that (then) Archbishop Pell represents a “muscular” form of Catholicism.
How true.
