More of the same shenanigans. This time in a New York State Congressional race.

Like I have said before. If we had honest elections, it is doubtful leftists would win a significant number of elections across the country.

Even with all their gimmicks, they still need to do this to win even in New York.

I had no idea of how pervasive the leftist overt cheating (or at least apparent cheating - admitedly my opinion) was, until recently. I knew it was going on. But not to this degree and extent.

.
"Brindisi (D-NY) is just 12 to 13 votes ahead of Republican challenger Claudia Tenney in the most recent count of votes for New York’s 22nd congressional seat. In question, though, are hundreds of absentee ballots.

Tenney . . .was up by about 27,000 votes before absentee ballots for Brindisi were counted and erased her lead."

Dead people allegedly voted in a too-close-to-call upstate New York congressional race, according to a county attorney involved with the case.

Rep. Anthony Brindisi (D-NY) is just 12 to 13 votes ahead of Republican challenger Claudia Tenney in the most recent count of votes for New York’s 22nd congressional seat. In question, though, are hundreds of absentee ballots.

Tenney, reports the state, was up by about 27,000 votes before absentee ballots for Brindisi were counted and erased her lead. The New York Post reports that Madison County attorney Tina Wayland-Smith has stated that votes by dead people were cast . . .

I think we know how desperate they were, they would do just about anything to change election results. Stealing and mailing in phony voters ballots was easy.

Oh, Breitbart

🚮

Here is the missing link

They have presented a story that is technically not false, but potentially misleading. They mention ballots of dead voters. They don’t mention the actual number (three) or that the people were alive at the time that they cast their votes. Instead they juxtaposed the story with the number 27,000. That may exaggerate ones perception of how many votes are affected. They then talk about fraud, which may make someone think that these votes in question are the result of fraud. Technically, they never directly assert these votes are fraud. Thus I can’t label their words as a lie. But I can label them as misleading since I think they would lead a casual reader to think this story is presenting a massive instance of fraud instead of reporting that three people that voted via absentee ballots died by Election Day.

This I can’t label ThinkingSapien’s words as a lie. But I can label them as misleading since I think they would lead a casual reader to think this story is presenting an instance of legal voting instead of reporting that either three people that voted via absentee ballots died by Election Day and the county counted illegal votes, and/or someone else illegally and fraudulently submitted them after their deaths.

Either way they are illegal.

One way (and possibly both depending on the circumstances) they are fraudulent votes.
. . . Wayland-Smith declined requests for comment on the names of the dead voters, or any other information.

A top state Board of Elections official is demanding an investigation.

“This is a known problem of voting by mail. It should be investigated,” said Doug Kellner, co-chairman of the board, noting that it’s a crime for someone to mail in a ballot in the name of a dead person.

“It is an election fraud. It’s a felony,” he said.

The law also says an absentee ballot cast by a voter who then dies before the election isn’t counted.
Bold mine.

Allegations of election illegal vote counting here. But stay tuned!

I’m very disappointed @ThinkingSapien, that you posted that partial information for the readers to view without the proviso that either way, they are illegal votes.

(Thank you for catching my accidental link absence. I edited the post to now include it.)

Whole lot of storm und drang about three votes.
Yes but that’s exactly what I would expect with a margin this thin.

Remember . .

When every single solitary vote is going to count (when they get this all sorted out - if they do) you could just as well say . . . .

Whole lot of storm und drang about the whole election! And appropriately so.

Wait, they voted and then passed away?
Yes

3 people voted by mail in Brindisi-Tenney race, then died. What happens to their votes? - syracuse.com

No allegations of election fraud here. But stay tuned! There will be more unjustifiably alarming stories to come!
And zombies, and fire, and ALL CAPS.

I was referring to the articles and the posts.

It’s three votes, so just determine what to do and either include them or exclude them and move on.

How do you exclude anonymous votes that have already been counted?

And how do you know only three votes are involved in irregularities?

I am watching for legitimate evidence of widespread intentional fraud, not mistakenly counting Mrs. O’Leary’s ballot after she died. Stories like this detract from any legitimate concerns about voter fraud.

Okay — but how does the story demonstrate widespread intentional fraud? I’m using that benchmark because it’s the only one that really matters in terms of moving elections.

Are you trying to infringe upon the rights of dead people? I see we even have a photo of the voters. Ye of little faith. It’s a miracle.

how does the story demonstrate widespread intentional fraud?
The story didn’t necessarily. And didn’t intend to.

I did.

How? By methodology and caveat.

Methods are submitting illegal votes (dead or not). Then count them. Afterwards there can be no possible re-evaluation (which is WHY I have been warning for months that these things need to be double-checked BEFORE the votes are counted).

And of course this . .

And if you want to think this is all good, that’s your call but I will disagree with that too.

And likewise I have been warning about the potential for fraud for months with mail in voting.

This result certainly suggests that to me.

Can I “prove” it? Of course not. But I could help “prevent” it I think with tighter vote security.

I feel like the high frequency of stories crying “fraud” that contain no examples of it, along with most of the court actions, may be training people to immediately roll their eyes when they encounter such claims. The constant wolf crying could be harmful when something does happen and people automatically dismiss it because of the other false and exaggerated stories.
