U.S.—Supporters of Kamala Harris have been eagerly awaiting an announcement on who her VP pick will be when she takes over as president approximately 5 minutes after Joe Biden is inaugurated. According to sources close to the campaign, she is already vetting possible candidates for the job.

“I am proud to announce I will soon be announcing my pick for Vice President of the United States,” said Harris. “We have searched all across this great land. While I cannot yet confirm who my pick will be, I can say this: my pick for VP will be even MORE of a woman and even MORE of color than I am. It will be the most colorful and womanly team ever!” She then threw her head back and cackled maniacally.

Joe Biden was also thrilled to hear the news that he would be getting not just one, but two female vice presidents.

The VP search has stalled since it has proven difficult to find a woman of color who survived both Kamala Harris’ pro-abortion policies as well as her aggressive imprisonment of minorities.

A) I found it amusing.

B) With as much garbage that gets posted on this board, I’d say yes, satire is apropos.

If you don’t like it, I am sure there is a topic you can run off to in order to defend Biden’s “Catholic” values some more.

And since you asked, here is another:

People identify too strongly with politicians. Politicians put themselves out there, that suggests more than a little ego. They should at least provide comic relief after this year.

So if that’s the case why do you bother spending time on this forum, seems to me you would want to move on…🤨

Yeah, I’m sure you would be happier if we stuck to the NYT and WP.

It is sincere in that I believe that of you, and sarcastic in that I have as little respect for the journalistic integrity of those two papers as you do of Breitbart, et al.

😉

Wasn’t Trump making fun of how John Kasich ate?
Why don’t you differentiate between the Media vs what a Candidate is saying?

The media is not supposed to act like they are one party’s PR team, but we expect candidates to do so.

So you much really dislike Fox News.
I don’t watch FOX. But my perception is they are conservative but not as rabidly dogmatic for one side as CNN and other major networks. I could be wrong as I don’t watch any of the networks.

I appreciate that this is satire, but presumably every VP since 1967 has had a list of possible VP appointees in mind. Of 44 presidents to date, eight have died in office and one has resigned. If just over 20% of US presidents have vacated office prematurely for one reason or another, the VP would want to be prepared.

Since this thread will probably be closed soon, I just want to ask a quick question. Where will Senator Harris find someone who can get along with her?

I concur with your assessment. I think that most of the the network TV “news” is very one-sided. I only occasionally watch any of them, as they come across as simply a bias political vlog.

Unfortunately, the New York Times and Washington Post are the majority of the typical Online news scrolls headlines and also offer a very slanted leftist opinion, rather that providing just the news and letting the reader make their own decision as to how to assess it.

He’s been crying “unfair” since Barbara Walters but gets a lot of free airtime anyway.

KH was beyond giddy ,nearly jumping out of her seat with delight as JB announced her as his VP pick. She has already picked out the curtains for the Oval Office,no doubt!
