Report: Ohio teacher burned cross on kids' arms

Mount Vernon Middle School teacher John Freshwater taught Christian beliefs even against the rules and protests at the school he went to, but he went far beyond that, he burned crosses into children’s arms.

Unfortunately this can only be used by secularists and other non-Christians to misrepresent Christianity in a bad light.

As for me I hope they throw away they key on that awful man. I really want to use more vulgar terms than that to describe him.
 
After a day I thought more people would be outraged at this.

“Outraged” is too stiff a word for me. I think “outrageous” and “outlandish” work pretty well. Ludicrous monkeyshines; the guy deserves bouncing.

In a way, I’m not outraged at all.

I’m saddened for this confused man, and the way this will be percieved by the children, families, and community affected- absolutely. No one should be put in a place where the cross is viewed in a negative light.

They’re all in my prayers.
 
Please see the thread that says the teacher did NOT burn a cross into a student’s arm, and end this thread!

The article which claims he didn’t burn a cross merely raises questions about his firing. It doesn’t, despite its headline, prove him innocent.

He apparently will appeal his firing, so we will probably be hearing more about him in the future.
