What does it matter if we are a minority or not?
These are worries that instill fear in fringe self-professed Christian groups and governments that lead to crimes against others, from harassment to genocide.

One could also see news reports like this as encouragement to pray more, to deepen one’s own spiritual life, to envangelize more… Not everyone is looking for excuses to kill people!

I would put very little faith in any such projections. Geopolitical instability, rapidly changing demographics… No one knows what will be in 5 years, much less 35 . We are not called to dwell on such things but to spread the good news. Christ is risen! - He is risen indeed!
