Repose of the soul of Jerry

My mother’s boyfriend, Jerry, passed away from cancer yeterday morning. My dad passed away in 1998, and several years ago my mom reconnected with Jerry, whom she had dated back in 1950, or so. He was a faithful Catholic, but my mom was leading him into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Please pray for the repose of his soul. Thank you.
 
Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
