Repose of the Soul of Steve

“Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” ~~ Luke 14:13-14

Steve literally lived this Bible verse. He and his wife opened their home to all comers to attend music parties, requesting a dish to pass, but if you didn’t bring one, you were still welcome, and all your friends were welcome too, no matter whether Steve knew them or not. Personally, thanks to Steve, I always had somewhere to go on New Years’ Eve.

While Catholic, Steve once played the violin at an ecumenical Christian service to raise money for the pro-life movement.

Surely his lifelong generosity has merited him much and he will be playing the violin at the Heavenly banquet.

That said, please pray for the repose of his soul, and for his family, especially his wife.
