Reproaches of Good Friday?

Hi,

Back when it was Good Friday (and also during the stations of the cross) at my parish we read from something called "The Reproaches of Good Friday. I have to say I felt a little awkward reading them because they seemed really anti-semitic. Has anyone else had qualms about these? What is the significance of these readings? When/where did they originate?

My people, what have I done to you? How have I offended you? Answer me!
I led you out of Egypt, from slavery to freedom, but you led your Saviour to the cross.
