Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory to Him forever!
His Grace, Bishop John of Parma of the Ruthenians has transferred me from St. Emilian parish in Brunswick, Ohio to Holy Spirit parish in Parma and St. Nicholas parish in Cleveland effective August 1. I would ask for your prayers as I prepare for these changes so I may serve the people in my new parishes well.
Deacon Robert Cripps

Howdy, neighbor!

Praying for you …

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Welcome, McPhelan! 🙂 Sending you some prayers. Also, I have never heard of Ruthenian Catholicism–is there a good website you could recommend to learn about it?

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Church is usually called the Byzantine Catholic Church here in the US. Try byzcath.org , parma.org or stemilian.com (my soon to be former parish website). There are also good links on all these websites for more info.

O Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son of your eternal Father: You have said with your holy lips: “Without me, you can do nothing.” Lord, we embrace your words with our hearts and souls, and bow before your goodness and say: Help Deacon Robert Cripp, your unworthy servant,to complete this, his present undertaking, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen!
Glory to Jesus Christ! Health and blessings!

Thank you for that info, Dcn Robert.
