I am loathe to ask favors (just goes against my upbringing) - but, I’ve been working through the reading list in Catholicism and Fundamentalism. Recently, I’ve read the writings of the early Fathers and the Radio Replies series… just blown away! I’d really like to read Catholic Evidence Training, but I honestly cannot afford the current price on Amazon. It must have gone out of print, because it is running over $500 new and about $70 used. Would anyone have an extra copy they could pass on to me, or even one I could borrow? My priest loaned me Theology for Beginners when I was considering conversion and I was dumbfounded - I really want to read this one!

That is awesome - thanks! I will certainly make use of it.

However, reading for very long on an electronic device gives me a headache. I would appreciate it if anyone has a paper version they could share with me. Of course, I should have mentioned that I would certainly be willing to pay a reasonable amount for a used copy - i.e. cover price plus shipping.

Cut & paste it into a word processor program, format it to your liking, then print it out at the library on their laser printer.

That is the plan - but bit unwieldy. Call me old fashioned, but although I’m a young guy still in college, I like books! Regardless, I’m already reading the introduction and appreciate your direction.

try ebay, enter the title into your saved searches if there isn’t a copy listed.

Check www.alibris.com, which lists copies from used book stores. They currently have hardbound copies from dealers from as low as $12.
