Yesterday I had multiple extractions (I am getting dentures) and my body did not react well to the numbing agent. I had to go to the hospital last night after I woke up with my shirt covered in blood from my nose and mouth. My blood pressure evidently spiked. I am on medication now, but it was prayer that kept me calm in the waiting room and it will be God who sees me through the road to recovery.
 
Prayer for Healing

Most Loving and Gentle Father, thank you for the care you showed Potter last night. Please continue to look upon him with eyes of mercy. May your healing hand remain upon him. May your healing powers flow through his entire body. Cleansed Potter’s system any infection, blood pressure difficulties, bleeding, swelling, and discomfort. Keep Potter’s courage strong throughout the rest of his recovery. We thank you for your protection and love. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Potter). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Potter’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
 
Please pray that our family will receive the providence we need to make it through these difficult times pleases pray for my Son That has been very sick with lots of health Issues , And pleases pray our son has a large mass in his nick and five nodels on his thyroid that he will have Byopiced on thurs sept 11 2014 at the hospital pleases pray for him that they all come back fine nothing bad and pleases pray in Jesus name to heal my son of all his Illness Amen …😦

Dear God,

I am asking you to protect, and heal our catholic Christian friend Potter who has asked us to remember him in prayers. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ your son the healer to heal him from all his illness, I asked this through Christ our lord, Amen.

Thank you all. I’m still tired and achy, but getting back up to snuff. My rector stopped by yesterday with a prayer shawl knitted by the ladies of the parish, which was such a nice surprise. 🙂
