Requesting prayer for my nephew

Greetings everyone,

I am requesting prayers for my nephew, Ben. He has a alcohol problem and is probably an alcoholic. He was resently arrested for a DUI and there was another arrest for being drunk.

I am asking for prayers that Ben will recognize his problem,that he will seek out help before he totally ruins his life. I also ask that he may have the strength and courage to first of all admit he has a problem. And that he will strive to overcome his battle with alcohol.

I am praying for your nephew! Substance abuse is a very serious illness, I hope he gets the help he needs. God is gracious, and there are many wonderful resources out there. Many of my family members have struggled with alcoholism and other addictions, it can be such a struggle. All the best!

Praying for Ben to admit his problem and reach out for help. May he seek out the Lord for help and cling to Him like a Rock. Lord, please grant Ben a personal encounter with You to transform his life completely. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.
 
Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers. Ben has indeed begun counseling and is not drinking - Thanks be to God! Please pray that Ben will continue down the path of recovery and will overcome his alcohol addiction.
