I realize it’s a weird question, but I’m curious as to if there’s knowledge on the bare minimum to have valid matter to host a human soul.

We could only determine that if we had an example, I think, and even then… Breeding is out of the question, but genetic manipulation is a real (and disturbing) possibility.
