I know that mortal sin requires
  1. Serious matter
  2. Full knowledge
  3. Deliberate consent
But is number 2 full knowledge that something is specifically a mortal sin or full knowledge that something is a sin in general?

If you commit a sin thinking that it is venial but it is actually grave matter, is it still a mortal sin?

If you commit a sin not really thinking about how serious a sin it could be, could it still be a mortal sin?

Full knowledge that it is a grave matter. Keep in mind habituality or addiction can lessen the mortal-ness of the sin, but it’s still a grave sin either way. If you have a particular sin in mind, talk to a Priest about it
