"The Jewish New Yorker who has made it his life’s work to clear the name of Pope Pius XII of being anti-Semitic believes the wartime pontiff actually went undercover to save the lives of Jews in Rome.

Gary Krupp came across the evidence in a letter from a Jewish woman whose family was rescued thanks to direct Vatican intervention.

I am glad to see Mr. Krupp had the courage to go beyond what he was fed growing up in being told that Pope Pius XII was anti-semetic and researched the truth into the matter. He is right that there is the need for gratitude to be shown by the Jewish community for all that the Pope did to help the Jews… a gratitude which is part of Jewish law as Krupp stated.

It does not surprise me one bit that Pope Pius XII went undercover into bombed areas of Rome or that he would have visited the ghettos. May the light of the truth finally begin to shine in the hearts of others who have been similarly misinformed about Pope Pius XII.
