I read the “sticky” in the forum which cited resources for Liturgy, but there were quite a few and I wasn’t sure which one would specifically address my question, which is:

Is there a website that documents everything that is said in the Mass, and whether this comes from Scripture?

For example, “Lord, I am not worthy to receive you” is from the Gospels. The Our Father is from Matthew. I’d just like a website that shows chapter and verse.

Thanks!

This book is not on line: THE DIVINE LITURGY AND HOLY SCRIPTURES by Fr. Contantine Nassr. It gives in parallel columns the text of the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom (Antiochian Use) and every scriptural allusion and reference and direct quote in the other.

Are you thinking about a similar book for either the Extraordinary Form or Ordinary Form of the Latin rite?

I was not looking for a book, but hoping for an online reference.

I don’t know what extraordinary vs ordinary form is.

But thanks for your response!

I know you said you’re looking for a web site, not a book… but you could buy my book when it comes out… hopefully in a month or so. 🙂
