Resources for teaching Virtue to a child?

Grace and Peace,

I have a 6 year old child (daughter) whom I have begun to expand on the Virtues (i.e. modesty, etc). Are there any good teaching aids out there for this? I don’t feel very equipped for the task…

here’s a very good, complete and easy to read catechism, which lists and explains the 7 gifts of the holy spirit, and the 12 fruits of the holy spirit -

really simplistic… I made index cards with the virtues on them and hung them on the fridge. We learned one at a time for a while (what is our virtue this week? Let’s think of ways we practice patience… now let’s think of ways we can practice patience more, etc) then after we had learned them, i would quiz the kids, what virtue would you be practicing if you helped an old lady across the street? And finally I would put a virtue list up with the kids names and when I saw them do something virtuous, I put it up on the board… it became a challenge to see who could display the most different virtues and also who could get the most “stars”… soon they were able to recognize them in themselves and each other.
 
William Bennett’s “Book of Virtues”. Tales from serious and excellent literature exemplifying virtues. Promotes cultural literacy as well as the virtues themselves.
