Resources on the Old Testament

As a convert, I never really had much exposure to the Old Testament; and it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to sign up for any OT classes at my college (Catholic U) until at least two semesters from now.

So are there any good resources, either free or modestly inexpensive, I can read that would be like a college-level course on OT events? I’m mostly looking for symbolic and Christological interpretations.

I second that. This site is one of the best out there. It has been a big help in understanding the OT and NT as well

A good deal less onerous (no disrespect for Copland’s great collection of resources) is the Great Adventure study. I’m not sure what it costs - but it’s on EWTN now!
