But this set of belief is not derived form the OT but from the Talmud, and thats the conflict Jesus found himself in with the Jewish authorities and not original sin concept. Judaism as we know it today is Pharisaic and not OT based. I know the game well since I used to be Sunni and I know the dual revelation game. Most Christians don’t have a clue what I am saying, but you do. So why don’t you be up front about that? Isn’t that a sin to be hiding your faith?
I think that you’re rather mixing and matching concepts from the three religions and that can lead to a certain meaninglessness and misunderstanding - we don’t share a ‘theological cosmology’ with Christians and Muslims - I think that Catholics with their ‘tradition’ and ‘magisterium’ understand the ‘legal commentary’ nature of Judaism and Islam rather well but most don’t realize it!

You’re going to have to get past this first:

“He claimed the Christian idea of salvation and a price for it is a pagan concept.”

Jews do not believe that Christ is God or even* of* God. They believe he was a heretic.

You have to first show them that idea of God sending him to die is not pagan and that we don’t continue to celebrate a pagan ritual in the Eucharist. No Jew on this site is going to believe that Christ is the Son of God and therefor explaining why he gave his life won’t matter. It’s still just a pagan concept to them. No matter if there are lots of concepts of Judaism and Christianity that can be viewed as pagan.

Judaism already has a method in place for atonement. They don’t need salvation (Lord forgive me) given by Christ’s death on the cross.

Peace.
