I think that in view of “quality of life versus quantity of life” issues …
The Catholic Church can’t convincingly respond to the secular question …
“At what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?”
If the Catholic Church dodges the corollary question …
“At what point does limiting family size become acting responsibly, in your view?”
With the same secular answer …
“Whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is above my pay grade.”
The point of this thread is to explore how the Catholic Church plainly responds to the question of responsible parenthood versus planned parenthood.
