It seems since the church ended the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel at the end of Mass in 1964 many evils have multiplied throughout the world. It seems as if our enemy is gaining a foothold in many areas and even countries that were staunchly Catholic such as Italy is having an increase in devil worship, plus Ireland and Poland seeing a large drop in church attendance with a secular movement in these and other countries trying to undermine our Catholic heritage. The list of evils in this world is too numerous to elaborate in a small space such as this. I think we should petition our Holy Father to bring back the prayer to St. Michael at the end of Mass and the Rosary should be encouraged in each parish at the end of every Mass. Most priests do give good sermons but it would be better if this message is brought to the parishioners during the sermons. I would like to hear what other members feel on this subject and any positive feedback on how to get the ball rolling on this.
