So, the age ole question of the Resurrection, when is it? Easy proof here:
1] “Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover, and the Son of Man is betrayed to be crucified.” Matthew 26:2
So, when is Passover? Answer: Leviticus 23:5 “In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’s Passover.” 14 Abib!
2] After Messiah died at 3pm on Passover Joseph of Arimathaea removed and placed His Body in a sepulchre hurriedly because a Sabbath was approaching. Mark 15:42-46
But, What Sabbath was approaching? The very next verse; Leviticus 23:6-8
Leviticus 23:6-8 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.[That was the SABBATH the Bible refers to!!!] But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Friday isn’t the only Day of Preparation! Many people don’t realize that God has Seven Annual Feast Days that are all Sabbath Days. That week there were two Sabbaths;
Thursday Day#1 in the Grave; the 1st day of The Feast of Unleavened Bread, a Sabbath! So, Gods People rested according to the Sabbath Commandment.
Friday Day#2 in the Grave; After the Sabbath the women purchased & prepared spices to anoint Messiahs Body, then returned home for a Sabbath soon approached.
Saturday Day#3 in the Grave; Again they rested.
3] Resurrection; Messiah came out of the grave exactly 72 hours from the time when He went in according to the Prophecy of Jonah. That would have been shortly before sunset Saturday.
So much for Sunday Resurrection. The only substantial argument against keeping the Sabbath.
