His Excellency, Bishop Andrew Pataki, Bishop-Emeritus of the Eparchy of Passaic has fallen asleep in the Lord today, Thursday, December 8, 2011 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred earlier this afternoon.
We ask for your prayers at this difficult time. Please keep +Bishop Andrew and his family in your prayers.
Funeral arrangements are pending and further information will follow.
May God grant to His servant the high priest +Bishop Andrew

His Excellency Bishop Andrew Pakati, J.C.L., D.D., fell asleep in the Lord yesterday, Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

The arrangements are as follows:

Tuesday, December 13: 5:00 PM Panachida for the reception of the Bishop’s body at the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, 96 First Street, Passaic, NJ.
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM The Bishop will lie in state.
7:00 PM Part I of the Office of Christian Burial for a Bishop.

Wednesday, December 14: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM The Bishop will lie in state.
7:00 PM Part II of the Office of Christian Burial for a Bishop.
Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, Passaic, NJ

Thursday, December 15: 10:00 a.m. Hierarchical Funeral Divine Liturgy for a Bishop and Pouring of Oil and Panachida.
Repast at St. Michael’s Auditorium, Passaic, NJ.

Friday, December 16: Interment 1:00 PM, Calvary Cemetery, Mt. St. Macrina,
500 W. Main St., Uniontown, PA with repast following at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Basil the Great.

In blessed repose grant, O Lord, eternal rest to your departed
servant the high priest +Andrew and remember him forever.
