Return of another oldie - Have you ever

We only buy used car. The most recent one was almost new but had been used as rental for a time. Bought it in 2018 and it was a 2018 make but still used.

Have you ever made ice cream?
 
Yes, at one time our refrigerator had an attachment which made ice cream. We had a recipe book which came with it and we made a lot of ice cream.

Have you ever made any furniture which was not precut?
 
Yes! I once made a bookshelf (does that count?). It was small. I cut all the boards, screwed it and nailed it together. Stained it. It was, quite likely, the ugliest, most misshapen bookshelf ever made.

Have you ever slept on the floor by mistake? (Not passes out from over-imbibing, mind you…)
 
No. (How does one do that? 🤔) I have slept on the floor intentionally…

Have you ever left a window open and only discovered the oversight after it had rained? 🌧️😞

Left a window open and have it rain in it? Yes. In my car.

Kinda, a stray kitten adopted us and stayed here for all 19 years of her life.

Have you ever had more than one dog at the same time?

Yes we had Midnight and Apache when Midnight died we got Pearl. Apache and Pearl were the best.

Have you ever witnessed a theft?
 
Sort of - wasn’t sure it was at the time though. (Found out later it was).

Yeah. Took it out of the harbour and down the coast for a few hours last week.

Twice. Once an arm and once a hip.

No, thankfully.

Have you ever eaten some food item that you’re allergic too (in the hopes it won’t be so bad this time - excluding anaphylaxis)?
 
Yes. Duck eggs. Delicious, but I’m allergic to the enzyme in them as are many.

Have you ever eaten a 1,000-year-old egg?
 
No. I’d sample one if the opportunity presented itself, but won’t go out of my way to do so.

Have you ever sued someone? 👨‍⚖️
 
No, and it’s not very likely in the future - I’m a geezer…
