You still have not watched the Blues Brothers, the story of the mission of Jake and Elwood Blues to save the orphanage that they were raised in. For this, YOU ARE BANNED!!! 🔨
 
Self ban for checking the On Demand selection through my cable box (I have Xfinity), and finding that The Blues Brothers is available!!! No additional charge!

I think I know what I’m watching this weekend!

Banned because in spite of all that Jake did to her she still demonstrates that wonderful Christian attribute of forgiveness.
 
Banned because I didn’t realize it was Carrie the first time she showed up in the film, then I looked at the cast list on IMDB and saw her credited as “Mystery Woman”.

Self ban because I actually forgot this quote from the film you posted 9 days ago, until I saw Jake actually deliver it.

I somehow managed to stay about 99% spoiler-free for 40 years. Almost everything was a surprise to me.

Banned because I enjoyed it. I thought it got rather absurd toward the end how many people were chasing them, but then I figured, that’s part of the joke. 🙂

Self ban because I had been in the hospital and not mentioned it in this thread. I got out Wednesday.

Double self ban because while I was in the hospital, I watched another cult classic movie that I had gone decades without seeing: BILL AND TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE. I thought it was cute. I was able to stream it on my phone thanks to my Xfinity cable subscription.
