Yes…42 years ago…it was at my wife’s grandmother’s church, an old ethnic parish in the inner city…they hadn’t had a wedding there in decades, and now there were two within two weeks…the entire interior of the church was painted for the occasion [it gave them an excuse…]…the scaffolding was still up when we did the rehearsal the evening before the wedding, and my wife was sure they wouldn’t have everything done in time, but everything was perfect.
