Returning to Catholic Church

Greetings!,

This is my first post to the forum. I was raised Catholic, but entered the Orthodox Church back in November 2003. I wish to be fully reconciled to the Catholic Church. Can I do this through the sacrament of confession or is there any other requirement? Thank you for your help.

Welcome back!

In general this is simply a matter of going to confession in order to restore communion with the Church. You might, however, want to speak to a priest or deacon at your Church about the reasons you left and are returning just to make the circle complete.
