I don’t mean to sound contrary here, but Mary is not divine, and these things are not part of Tradition with a capital “T”. They are private revelation, worthy of belief, but not necessary to believe. Even the devotions that claim to be given to the person or Saint by Jesus Himself are not part of Sacred Tradition and are not part of Divine Revelation. They are pious traditions.
I only point this out, in all charity, because these forums are frequented by many non-Catholics, many of whom believe that Catholics have elevated Mary to a status of divinity and worship her, which we absolutely do not; also many people are confused by Sacred Tradition and traditions, (small case “t”).
I know it was merely error, but it is important that we use these terms correctly so as not to confuse people as to our beliefs; also if someone is unaware of something, it makes them aware of the truth of what Catholics believe.
