JBKlutse, thank you for sharing this. May your day be blessed with God’s peace!

Well it is interesting. to find a methodological. Way for success prayer

Mening no disrespect, but I find the idea of “Secret Weapon Prayer” or some such set of “miracle words” or the implication of an “inside track” to a miracle more like something that belongs on a televangelist TV show, not Catholicism. Surely God knows our hearts and our needs in whatever humble words we choose. It’s about prayer, not voodoo where certain words have to be said in a specific formula.

Can I give this a double-like?

Ha ha haha. Yes … As fr john harden said in his teaching on mystism. Visions and visionaries. .
He couldn find current. People so he said

Terissa of avelia. And st john of the cross
Were examples. .of catholic mystism
And non Catholics. Prophetical people had BIG imaginations. .

And as he didnt have any personal experiences to write about. His answer was finding someone who did

I don’t think anyone really thinks it’s a secret, or its voodoo either.

Not everyone can find the words they want to say on their own. For some, rote prayer is the only way they can pray, but as you said, God hears what is in our heart, and he hears it for people that pray such prayers as well. 🙂

Oh c’mon, can’t we have a little fun when we pray?

The prayer is hardly a secret, and it actually was written by St. Margaret Mary even though St. Padre Pio often gets all the credit, but I like to think of myself as using secret weapons against Satan. If more people thought like that instead of seeing prayer as wimpy, people would pray more. It’s powerful stuff!

Believe me, our Protestant Evangelical brethren don’t hesitate to refer to prayer in nice colorful and powerful terms. Because it gets people’s attention and gets them motivated. Storm heaven!
