Hi I was wondering why there are 24 leaders in hevean who come down and play the harp etc in revelation my question is why do we need leaders of hevean we have god . How do you be a leaders ? What’s the point ?

Then, in between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb, standing as if it had been slain. It had seven horns and seven eyes, which are God’s seven spirits, sent out into the whole earth. When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each held a harp and gold bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. (Revelation 5:6, 8 CEB)

It symbolizes the Twelve Tribes of Israel and the Twelve Apostles (i.e. the Twelve appointed leaders of both the Old and New Covenant, Old and New Israel), and that the Lamb is Lord of both.
This specific passage that you pointed out talks about the incense, the prayers of the saints, implying that Apostles at least can hear our prayers, and offer them to God.
Following the logic that the Lamb is Lord of both the Old and New Israel, and that the Semites saw the Mother of the King as Queen, not the many wives, that Our Lord’s own mother, the Theotokos, must be Queen of both the Old and New Israel. (See the Woman with the twelve stars in the beginning of chapter 12, and remember that Joseph dreamed that he and his brothers were twelve stars as well in Genesis.)

Matt19: 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Even the angels have a hierarchy…remember the nine choirs of angels?

And when in heaven…Matthew’s gospel say…we will like angels.

…we must remember that the book of the Apocalypse (Revelation) is all a vision that St. John is given… being a man, Jewish, much of the symbolic depictions had to relate to his understanding… the twenty four elders are the prefigurement of the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve Apostles… as far as leaders in the human understanding there will be none since we (those who actually make it) will be like Christ is and we will know Him as He knows us… as far as order… not all the angels are of the same rank (intimacy with God) and I suspect it will be the same for us… those who make it by the skin of their teeth may have to take a number on a very huge waiting isle before being granted audience in the presence of God… so it is understandable that those who came before and who have had served God in a more devote and pure way would standout (as those whose garments were washed in the blood of the Lamb) not as a division of class but as a distinction of Obedience and Humble Service and Sacrifice… as Christ stated those who want to be the leaders must be the servants of all–in God it is not the most intellectual and wealthy that count as the greater servants!

Maran atha!
