Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me: Do you know why the last book in the New Testament is called “Apocalypse” in the Catholic Bible instead of “Revelation”, which is what it is called in the version of the Bible that I have read?
Either name is appropriate, as the definitions of both of these words would make sense with what happens in this book.
Revelation- A manifestation of Divine truth.
Apocalypse- A prophetic disclosure, a revelation.
