Revelation Chapter 1 and Jesus

In a conversation with an LDS member I asked - How could Jesus preached the gospel to the lost tribes of Israel?

In reference to the Book of Mormon teaches that one of the lost tribes of Israel came to America in about 600 BC. And after His ascension, Jesus supposedly came to America to preach the “Gospel” to them.

I said that I believe this contradicts the Bible:

The Bible tells us that Jesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9-11), He’s only coming back once (1 Thessalonians 4:15), He must stay in heaven until that time (Acts 3:19-21), and when He comes he will judge the living and the dead (Matthew 25:31-46). The living and the dead have not been judged. Hence Jesus has not come back yet. He is right where He has been since His ascension – in heaven.

He then said Jesus appeared to John in Revelation chapter 1, not only did he set foot upon the earth (John fell at his feet), he also touched John.

I would like to know what the Church teaches on Revelation chapter 1:13-18?
 
Well, why don’t you begin at the beginning:
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show his servants what must happen soon. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

It looks like Jesus sent and angel to “fetch” John.

Then in verse 10, it looks like John was transferred up into heaven for his vision:
I was caught up in spirit on the Lord’s day and heard behind me a voice as loud as a trumpet,

BTW, did you know that heaven opens up for us in the Mass, and we are lifted up “in the spirit” to join the heavenly choirs? Do you now know where we get this teaching from?

This passage in Revelation is where we get it!

*The Lord be with you. And also with you.

Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord* It is hear that we are lifted up in Spirit, just as John was in Revelation 1.

Then, shortly after, we join the heavenly choirs as they sing what is found in Revelation 4: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.”
