A favorite tonight: the second in the Creature From The Black Lagoon series, The Revenge of the Creature (1955).

This one, I think, was originally in 3-D. And it’s got Clint Eastwood (!) in his first appearance in a movie! Cool, huh?

Clint has just a minor role; John Agar stars, with Ricou Browning as the creature, and Lori Nelson as the babe.

Svengoolie is a weekly show, Saturday nights at 10 Eastern, on MeTV. An old sci-fi/monster movie is shown, with skits, “jokes” and trivia during commercial breaks.

Shakespeare it ain’t.

Gonna watch it with me?

Sorry my Cubbies are in the playoffs tonight. I might check in between innings but that’s about it.
 
I love MeTV’s SciFi Saturday night: Land of the Giants, Time Tunnel, Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Then, after that, Burns and Allen and Jack Benny on AntennaTV.

I’m interested (though not too familiar) with all those programs but have a hard enough time staying up late enough to finish Svengoolie’s feature film of the week.
 
I’m looking forward to this Saturday’s feature, Dracula’s Daughter.
 
Well, I nodded off just when the movie began to get interesting (when the assistant finds a young woman in need of cash to ‘model’ for Dracula’s daughter and brings her to the mansion).
